Cream of endive with Christmas beer

Cream of endive with Christmas beer

Melt 2 endive strips in 20 g of butter. Add 20 cl of Christmas beer, cook 15 minutes. Mix, add 10 cl of cream, liquid, salt and pepper. Divide into small glasses. Add a little spice bread toasted in a dry pan.

The endive cream might be a little bitter. You could sprinkle the endives with a little brown sugar or add less beer.
